Pumpkin Spice all Day Every Day

Who deemed pumpkins as queen bee of fall? Either way, pumpkin is the new black and I'm never going back. I'm obsessed with all of these spicy fall items.

1. The good ol' Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte

While you're at it, pair your latte with their Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin, Pumpkin Bread, or Pumpkin Scone.

2. Pumpkin Spice M&Ms

These are the new pretzel M&Ms. Period.

3. Pumpkin Spice Kahlua

Nothing will warm you up better than a little bit of this ;)
Suggestion: Pumpkin spice Martini

4. Pinterest Pinnable Pumpkin Spice Pudding Cookie Recipe (from sweettreatsmore.com)

Ingredients
.    1 cup butter flavored crisco (use plain crisco or butter if needed)
.    3/4 cup brown sugar
.    1/4 cup granulated sugar
.    1 (3.4 oz) package Jello Instant Pumpkin Spice Pudding
.    2 1/4 cups flour
.    1 tsp baking soda
.    2 eggs
.    1 tsp vanilla
.    1 cup milk or semisweet chocolate chips
.    24 rolos

Instructions

.    Preheat oven to 350.

.    1. Combine flour and soda until combined, set aside.
.    2. In mixing bowl beat crisco and sugars until smooth.
Beat in pumpkin spice pudding until completely mixed in.
Add vanilla and eggs and beat until combined.
.    3. Mix in dry ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips.
.    4. Using a cookie scoop, scoop dough onto cookie sheets
lined with parchment paper. Flatten the dough slightly and
press a rolo into the center. Form round ball of dough
around the rolo.
.    5. Bake for 8-10 minutes and let cool. (I like to undercook
slightly and then let them cook a little more on the
baking sheet after I've removed from the oven).

   Notes
.        If you can't find the Jell-O Instant Pumpkin Spice Pudding, use Vanilla instant pudding combined with 1- 1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

5. Pumpkin Shake at Bruxie (for the Orange County foodie)

Pumpkin Pie in a cup is really all you need in life. Well along with your waffle sandwich.

Take a Hike!

I'm a big fan of outdoor activity now, but when I was 13, the optima of my "fat stage", never  did I ever think I'd enjoy the great out doors. Well if you're anything like me now, definitely not like my 13 year old self, you like to adventure with your girlfriends or boy toy, maybe like getting a little sweaty, or maybe you just like breathing in that fresh air. What ever it is these spots are too great to miss out on in the OC.

1. Hug a Hunnie on the Hill up California Drive, in Irvine

Over looking all of Irvine this little secret spot is perfect for a quick run or picnic date. They'll be glad to see you when they realize there's room for two ;)

2.  Laugh in the Laguna Coast Wilderness Park

Her shirt really doesn't lie, this hiking spot is always a party. I've never hiked these trails and not had a good time. There's hundreds of different trails to take from epic mountainous views, to a view of the coast line of Laguna Beach. If you're feeling like a rockstar this trail leads to a tunnel that goes straight to the beach!

3. Rock-climb the Red Rocks in Whiting Ranch

This place really is a hidden gem. You wouldn't believe it, but to get here, you start off at a Walmart on Portola in Foothill Ranch, Orange County! Its about a 3 mile walk in to here, but its totally worth it. Only climb the sandstone if you're really daring.

4. Hang at the Hollywood Hills
If you're willing to go farther and venture out of Orange County, the Hollywood hike is a total Californian move. You can either meet the paparazzi in front of the sign which makes a great photo op or do what these superstars did and climbed to the top. Climber's choice.

5. Peek over the Potato Chip Rock

This fun location is on the other side of SoCal, closer to the border. Although my 13 year-old self was thoroughly disappointed finding out this was not where Lay's chips came from, the view and rush you get when you hop on to this rock is almost as good as a bag of Cheddar and Sour Cream lays. "Betcha can't just take one" picture here!
